Oponly Ads Assistant

An internal tool used by Oponly (mobile tyre service, Szczecin, Poland) to manage its own Google Ads account with the help of an AI assistant.

What the application does

Oponly Ads Assistant connects to the Google Ads API on behalf of a single advertiser: Oponly. It lets the account owner review performance and manage campaigns from the command line, using Claude Code (an AI coding assistant by Anthropic) together with a locally running Model Context Protocol (MCP) server.

Reporting: campaign, ad group, keyword, search term and conversion reports.
Campaign management: creating and editing campaigns, budgets, bids, ad groups, ads, assets and keywords, including negative keywords.
Optimisation: reviewing and applying Google Ads recommendations, and keyword research with Keyword Planner.

Who can use it

The application is not offered to the public and has no external users or clients. The only user is the owner of Oponly, and the only Google Ads account it manages is Oponly's own account.

How it works

The owner signs in with their Google account and grants the application access to Google Ads (OAuth 2.0, scope https://www.googleapis.com/auth/adwords).
The OAuth credentials are stored only on the owner's computer.
The owner asks the AI assistant a question or requests a change. The assistant calls the Google Ads API through the local MCP server.
The assistant shows each change before it is made, and nothing is changed without the owner's explicit approval.

Data use: Google Ads data is used only to report on and manage Oponly's own advertising. It is not sold, not shared for advertising purposes and not used to train AI models. Details are in the Privacy Policy.
